definition of Taiwanese American food: shao bing with ham & eggs…LOL
“shao bing” is the thin, crispy, flaky sesame-covered flatbread that Taiwanese people normally eat for breakfast… with thin slices of beef, sprigs of green onion and this thick sesame/soy sauce paste.
I’m eating mine with ham & eggs and ketchup :P
(cooked) salmon or minced pork, avocado, cucumber sushi ^-^!
darker ones have ground black sesame mixed into the rice beforehand
in a wrap: grilled tri-tip and onions with diced tomatoes, cucumber & avocado dressed with a homemade yogurt/basil/pesto sauce
toasted pesto bagel with mixed greens tossed with grilled chicken, cheese, hand-crushed almonds and sesame, dressed with balsamic and flax oil :)
We had no butter to make frosting, so we decided to make…a s’more cake! Ingenious or what.
